NASA: Benefit or Waste? by Ryan
The United States government gives the NASA Space agency several billion dollars each year, but schools across the nation want the government to disperse the money so that they can afford textbooks for the students. However it is my belief that we should still fund billions of dollars to NASA for them to continue their arduous work.
NASA has made the world a smaller place. currently with two rovers on Mars, we will be able to assess whether or not Mars is a congenial place for us to live. We are now entering the Space Age, but what's the point of calling it the Space Age if we are not exploring space? NASA has benefited the way we live and should continue to do so.
With the help of NASA, satellites were launched to space. Cellphones which are currently popular would be useless without them. Without NASA, we would have to rely on pegeons.
With the money from the United States government, NASA has been able to send two rovers to Mars. If we are to abandon this mission by dearth of money, we will be giving up the steps to get out of the box in which we are living. there has been news that water existed on mars in the past. Without the funds given by the government, we wouldn't have this kind of news now or in the future. Who knows, if the funds really pay off, we could be living in Mars in the next couple of decades.
Without knowing anything about space, it would be *** to call this age, The Space Age. In order to know more about space, NASA must continue. Schools might say textbooks are the only way in which students can learn, but this is not always true.
NASA has upgraded our lifestyles in many different ways. Many fundamental items which we use today are the results of NASA's research. In order for us to leave Earth and launch into space, the government must fund the NASA Space program.
