Crisis at Camp - written by Jieun
When I go to summer camp or any camp, I am often paired up in a buddy system to make sure no one fools around. I pray not to have a wild buddy to stay out of a trouble. However, if I was to be paired up with a wild buddy, I would follow these steps.
First, when the buddy insists on swimming to an island alone, I would just let her go. I would just let her go. I would not want to cause a fight in a camp with that small problem. By the time one of the chaperones counts up the number of kids, I would make an excuse as to why my buddy is not there. For example, I could say that she had a digestive problem so she went to the bathroom. As soon as the chaperone would leave, I would give it to one of my friends, saying that if I didn’t come back within 1 hour 30minutes, she should give the letter to the chaperones.
Second, on the way to the island, L would mark the way with pink ribbons so that when people were trying to find me and my buddy, they could easily see the way and know where we were. For 1 hour and 30 minutes, she and I would wander around the island, hoping to find something interesting. Indeed, we might able to find a mysterious care or hidden gold. If we found something valuable, no one could say a word when we got back because we would be surprised seeing what we have found. I would plan to sell the valuables and become rich. Even if we did not find valuables from the island, I would say I had a such a precious time when I returned. When I would finally get back, I would warn my buddy not to swim off alone anymore for the rest of the camp day.
