Susan B. Anthony - Written by Samantha(5th)

Susan B. Anthony was a very persistent person.
She always tried to give women the right to vote.
Even if many people threatened her, she would
still try to reach her goal. In 1856, Miss Anthony
became an agent for the American Anti-Slavery
Society. She had to encounter angry mobs,
threats, and objects thrown at her. Susan
B. Anthony never gave up.

Miss Anthony was an awesome person.
Susan’s ability to inspire was helpful when
she was campaigning for or making petitions.
I don’t think Susan B. Anthony made any mistakes.
She did not have a bad trait either. I think
that the two most important lessons of her life was,
not to judge a person on how they look, and
women have the same right s as men.
Even though Susan B. Anthony did not achieve
her goal in her lifetime, because of her effort, the
laws were eventually changed.

Susan had many enemies. They were mostly
the men. It was because they were afraid and
did not want to change. Susan B. Anthony received
encouragement, support, and friendship from her
friend Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Susan and Elizabeth
were very different but they shared the same dream.
Because of Susan B. Anthony, all women are now
allowed to make a difference in government.
