Hi, my name is Sharon and next year I will be a seventh grader at T. G. Middle school. I am the oldest child in my family of six people. My sister`s name is Michelle and my seven-year-old brother`s name is Kevin, and my two-year-old baby brother is called Steven. We all love each other very much, but like all siblings, we occasionally get into fights. Here is a little more about me.
I enjoy fencing, and I take group fencing lessons. Contrary to popular belief, not only boys take and excel in fencing classes. I believe I am quite good at foil fencing even though my footwork and parries need improvement. Fencing is a fun way to exercise and compete, especially since I am a very competitive person.
I also enjoy swimming because it is very competitive. I have been on the Whalers Swim Team for about three years, and we go to many swim meets against teams all over the country. I have many ribbons and medals of which I am proud of. I hope I will win more ribbons and continue to improve in swimming.
Another interest of mine is playing the piano. I have improved a lot on piano. Recently. I went to a competition against five-husband pianist, and I won second place. The second-place prize was to perform at Lincoln Center in New York City! After playing my performance song, Etude by the famous composer Chopin. I received a certificate. Next year, I will go to this competition again and I hope to win first place, performing at Carnegie Hall!
